BailaVision began with a simple wish: to give dance events the images they deserve. Images that respect movement, understand the culture and tell the stories beyond the stage.
As a photographer and filmmaker, I work closely with artists, organisers and audiences. I know the value of good timing, an unobtrusive angle and prompt delivery while the event’s energy is still alive.
Based in Alsace, I travel across France, Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg and beyond depending on the project.
My role is to take content creation off your hands on the day. I prepare, anticipate and adapt so you can focus on what matters: bringing your event to life.

My name is Olivier Herrmann, founder of BailaVision.
Photography has been part of my life since the early 2010s. Exploring very different worlds taught me to observe before pressing the shutter and to seek what makes a moment truly alive.
I discovered social dance in 2021–2022 and quickly fell in love with it. Today I dance bachata and salsa, a little kizomba, and I have been learning Brazilian zouk since late 2025.
BailaVision grew from these two passions. Being a dancer helps me read movement, anticipate a connection and know when to step in — or stay discreet. I don’t only see dance from the outside: I know the floor, its codes and how it feels to be there.

The dance floor,
I live it too.
Dancing shapes the way I see. On the floor, I learn to recognise intention, anticipate movement and understand what the images need to preserve.
It also reminds me how it feels when a camera enters the floor. That experience guides my distance, my discretion and the space I leave each dance to stay natural.
